This rule just plain sucks. It needs a complete overhaul in order to be useful. We don't want to deprecate it, so get cracking on a revision, slacker! |

Tapping into the life force that flows through plant life, the mage can effectively talk to and get responses from them. Believe it or not, some plants may not want to answer your questions, and the GM may ask for a Negotiate roll before the spell becomes active. Any living plant or fungus can answer questions that you pose, but only you can hear the answer. How much of the reply you can perceive is dependent on the Intensity.
Intensity Effects
- The plant can answer any yes or no question
- The plant mutters a one word reply
- You can discern five words or less
- The plant conveys a full sentence
- You can listen to a very old plant speak as much as it wants in the time the spell lasts
