All spirit arts behave according to one of the Five Ways. Those who walk the path of the spirit practice one or more of these.
- The Way of the Aura – Knowledge, communication, truth and lies
- The Way of the Form – Stability, cohesion, strength and weakness
- The Way of the Hand – Force, energy, creation and destruction
- The Way of the Step – Travel, movement, freedom and restraint
- The Way of the Voice – Emotion, will, courage and fear
Each one of the Five Ways embodies positive and negative aspects. These balanced forces of positive and negative are referred to as motions.
