This rule simply needs tweaking. It may be almost perfect, or it may need a bit of work. It's half-way in between sexy and in need of overhaul. Leave any ideas on the Talk page, please! |

The mage calls upon the spirit of earth to give him or herself the ability to swim through rock and earth as if it were water. For all intents and purposes, the mage feels as if he or she is swimming. While submerged, he or she can also see his surroundings. If submerged too long, the mage still suffocates. The movement speed and type of earth is dependent on the Intensity.
Intensity Effects
- The mage trudges through solid earth or sand as if it were mud (move at half speed). The mage must make a Swim check of 30 or start to sink.
- The mage swims comfortably through solid earth or sand, as if it were clear water.
- As above, but the mage can trudge through rock as if it were thick mud.
- As above, but the mage can swim through solid rock as easily as he or she could in water.
- As above, but the mage can see through to the surface, and can swim at up to twice normal speed
