Egund is ruled by the Amber Seat, located in the city of Threshold.  The Amber Seat rules a unique form of Timocracy where the lords of Egund are granted further or less lands to work based on the results of the previous year's harvest.  The more produce each lord can provide the land, the more lands he is awarded.
