The mage channels a summoned lightning bolt straight out of his or her hands towards a target. Creatures wearing or composed of metal take double damage, likewise creatures wearing or composed of stone, leather, or some other non-conductive material take half. The lightning bolt can chain to one subsequent opponent per two ranks in the school. The distance between secondary targets as well as the damage dealt is dependent on the spell level. Each time the lightning arc jumps, the damage is lessened by 15.
