Expoint Cost: 5, 10 or 15
Your body is a sponge for magical energy, that is, spells or similar effects that would normally deal you damage are lessened in power. For five points, you absorb the first 5 damage any spell deals you each round. For ten points, you absorb the first 10. For fifteen, you absorb the first 15 points of magic damage you receive. Even the extra damage dealt by a magic weapon counts towards this number (not the regular damage, however).
