Forgotten Years

City of Brass is founded by the Zjenithi.

The Zjenithi town of Zjenahd is founded.

Jut is founded by the Zjenithi.

First humans appear on Gaeis in the area of what will later become Kadwal. They bring with them the sword, a tool used only for killing. The first beings they encounter are the Trowls, who will help them build their first cities.

The Floodwaltzer Armor, a powerful device, is forged Floodwaltzer's sanity finally breaks and he begins a reign of chaos and destruction, laying waste to the countryside Floodwaltzer is bound by powerful magic and trapped deep in the earth

Seraph Andrusan is born in the village of Hardwick, outside of Kadwal. Siera Andrusan is born in Hardwick. Sasha Andrusan is born. Seth Andrusan is born.

King Cullemon of Kadwal begins The War of the Golden Leaf with the Sidhe by cutting down the Great Tree. The Stone Sword is mended and given to Ha'al. Cullemon dies by his own folly. War of the Golden Leaf ends. Kadwal knows peace for a time. A seedling of the Great Tree is taken to Borok for safe keeping.

A man known as Lord Darkheart builds a fortress near Spire. Monsters and horrible aberrations of nature begin terrorizing the countryside.

Ha'al the Smith, Dashkell Alazard, and Emmerick Rask kill SeraphAndrusan/Lord Darkheart.

Dashkell Alazard finds the Floodwaltzer Armor in the desert outside of Spire and begins amassing a mercenary army. He takes the surname Floodwaltzer.

Xeroseth takes a position within the Guild of Smiths in Tenebra.

Xeroseth enters the employ of King Everard of Vast as his advisor on industrial matters.

Dashkell Alazard is killed.

The Floodwaltzer armor is destroyed on the Pinnacle of Spire. Spire is destroyed. Mass exodus from Spire to other cities.


Xeroseth is gifted with an island in the Sea of Swords He renames it "Cog" Ha'al comes to Cog to aid Xeroseth in his work. He brings many talented Trowls and Goblyns with him.

Xeroseth takes control of the Guild of Smiths in Vast, brings them to Cog. Xeroseth returns to Vast to begin a campaign against Everard II. Revolution takes hold of Vast. Everard II is deposed. Xeroseth declares Vast a Free City, sets up the office of Monitor to allow him to keep an eye on it. Vast becomes one of the most prosperous cities on Gaeis.


The city of Spire is destroyed Cainan Stone is born in Kadwal. Cainan Stone is crowned King in Kadwal. 976 - Renard Kent is born in Kadwal. 979 - Madelyne Falle is born in Kadwal. 980 - Edward Stone is born in Kadwal.

It goes on to be one of the most notorious mercenary companies ever known. 1003 - Drogan, son of Donya, a half-titan, is born in Cydonya. 1015 - Kadwal and the Alliance declares war against Cydonya. Beginning of the Titan-Queen's war. 1016 - Prince Edward Stone earns his title of Warden of the North as he holds the Cydonyan forces off in the Valley of Cernai. 1017 - Edward Stone marries Madelyne Falle. They are crowned King and Queen of Kadwal. 1018 - Cainan Stone falls down a stair and dies. 1019 - Titan-Queen's War ends, mostly due to Edward Stone's ruthless tactics and relentless defenses. Donya's son Drogan is taken as a ward of Kadwal to protect against further aggression. The 13th Northern Mercenary Company is obliterated. The White Fox is one of the few to escape the battlefield.
