The mage makes a call to Mr. Sandman to escort the target to the land of nod. Creatures targeted by this spell simply fall into peaceful sleep. Creatures capable of standing and sleeping (horses, centaurs, etc.) fall asleep where they stand, but for the most part, the target will fall down, releasing anything carried.

When learning this spell, the mage must choose the specific school that is used when cast. A mage can learn this spell in different schools, but must buy Spell skill ranks in each (either Status or Sound). In the sound school, this spell is known as This is a sound spell Lullaby.
