The target or area given a Spell Ward is completely immune to Magic spells of the level cast and lower (for instance, a Level Three Spell Ward negates all Level Three spells, but not Level Four or Five). A Spell Ward can only be removed by casting Nullify Magic. Magic objects temporarily cease to function while in a Spell Ward (they resume functioning normally when the spell ends, or when they leave the area of effect). Any magic objects that a person holds who is Spell Warded function similarly. Likewise, magic objects used against a Spell Warded person lose any magical properties. A person who is Spell Warded or is inside of an area-effect Spell Ward cannot cast spells.

A Spell Ward covers an area of 10 foot radius per school rank (e.g. a caster with 5 ranks in Ward can cast a 50-foot radius Spell Ward).

Intensity Effects

The level at which Spell Ward is cast is effective against spells of the same level or lower.
