The mage enchants two or more pieces of metal which can be used by their bearers to communicate verbally between them. The items to be so enchanted must be entirely or mostly made of metal (coins usually work best). The number of items which can be enchanted as well as the type of communication and maximum distance is dependent on spell level. If the distance between the items ever exceeds the maximum range, the spell is broken.
Intensity Effects
- The items may be no further than 100 yards apart. 2 items, where one item acts as sender and one as receiver.
- 2 items, no more than one mile apart, with communication possible both ways.
- 5 items must remain in the same country or kingdom.
- 10 items must remain on the same continent.
- No distance restriction, 20 items.
