Can one or more of you look into how other systems (Rifts, GURPS, Storyteller) handle creatures of different size? Different sized creatures will affect (maybe among other things) Muscle, HP, speed, and bonuses/penalties to defense. ―Double Compile 10:57, 19 January 2012 (EST)

I found this in brief searching. I also gave the question some thought while on the train this morning. Caveat: I am not 100% up to speed with regard to the latest revisions in Combat. I think we could have a "size multiplier" that scaled damage and defense for larger and smaller creatures. This "size" variable, would default to 1 for human-scale creatures, so it could be ignored for most calculations by GM's (and almost all calculations by players, unless a player is enlarged or shrunk...). ―Kozak

If you're

Huge

  • Muscle gets a boost because you have the strength of 10 Morgan Freemans
  • HP goes up because there's more of you to hurt
  • Speed goes up because of your immense legs
  • Defense goes down because you're huge and easy to hit

Tiny

  • Muscle gets a drain because you have noodly appendages. Should even go below zero if you're about the size of macaroni.
  • HP goes down because you have miniature organs
  • Speed goes down because you have stubby little legs
  • Defense goes up because you're tiny and hard to hit
