The city of Wall is surrounded by an immense wall, called the Cadwall, running around the perimeter of the city and environs and manned continuously against invasion.

History

When Prias I came to Jaeis, he sought to protect his people, and so dreamed of an enormous wall erected to keep invaders out. Centuries later, the wall was completed, and not even Prias could have envisioned the sheer enormity of the thing. Soon thereafter, more walls were built around individual forts and cities, further fortifying them... and isolating them.

The Wallers has survived assaults from the Cydonyans, Sidhe, Tenebran Entropist factions, and the nearby Triadan Civil War. According to Wallers, they aren't going anywhere soon.
