Haven't you always wanted a hundred of your friends to show up at your butt-kicking party? Summoning a huge host of illusory allies certainly puts you in a favorable position. The illusion isn't interactive. Your imaginary allies simply stand and look tough, ready for a good fight. Any targets who fail their save act as if successfully Intimidated, and move one step down the Morale track (see the Combat chapter) for each level of Intensity. You can affect any creatures within a radius of 5 feet per spell rank. There's no specific number of allies which appear for this spell. It could be a posse of buddies who have your back, or it could be a thousand spears at the emperor's command. The initial effect of the spell is fear in your opponents, even though these illusory allies hang around for the entire length of your encounter.

Intensity Effects

  1. You've just earned yourself a posse of five buddies. Pardner. Giddyup! Any targets with failed saves move 1 step down the Morale track
  2. I didn't know there were only 20 people in the KISS army! Targets move 2 steps down.
  3. A mob of 50 is ready to be incited to tear into Troy. Targets move 3 steps down.
  4. A hundred or so friends have shown up at your butt-kicking party. Targets move 4 steps down.
  5. Targets move 5 steps down, which usually means they run for their lives or surrender.
