Also known as "The Reborn", Marn was a Dark Mage of great potential who plagued Gaeis in his bid to revive a dark power, long gone from the world. He managed to wreak a considerable amount of chaos, growing powerful enough to destroy even a Dragon, thinking that its blood would help in the ritual through which he would revive his master. He was stopped by the Band of the Spire however, and was destroyed.
Marn was fond of hiding his face behind a black shroud. Contrary to popular belief, he was not disfigured. He carried an iron rod as his weapon of choice.
