Humans

Humans are not natives of Gaeis. Some time ago the native races of Gaeis noticed strange footprints in the snow, in the sand, in the leaves. They watched the ancestral humans carefully, until the humans felt their eyes and sought them out. These early Humans did not feel nearly as strong a tie to the land as the other races and were free to move around and adapt to different regions as they wished. The bloodlines spread, as humans are wont to do, over the entirety of Gaeis' breadth and established or settled in whatever homes they could build. They became as sturdy, diverse and numerous as the rocks in a riverbed.
