Artful Dodger

This rule simply needs tweaking. It may be almost perfect, or it may need a bit of work. It's half-way in between sexy and in need of overhaul. Leave any ideas on the Talk page, please!

Combat Trump

Sometimes the best offense is a good defense. You have a way of evading your opponents' attacks in a way that puts them in harmful positions. Your foes may literally fall on their swords. If you win a Dodge against an opponent's Attack, the opponent takes the difference as damage. For instance, if Skorna rolls a 15 on her Dodge, and Akare rolls a 5 on his Attack, Akare takes 10 damage as his attack puts him off balance and he collides with a wall, etc.

You may only use a Artful Dodger once per round for each time you purchase the Trump. For instance, if Skorna spends 8 XP to purchase this trump twice, she can Artfully Dodge the first two attacks that come his way in a round.
