Reaction represents your physical and mental alacrity: how on top of things your character is.  It's the stat added to the roll at the start of combat to determine order.  The higher the result, the sooner your character can act in a dangerous situation.  It is also used to see if a character can react quick enough to avoid some sort of danger.  It is found by adding a character's [[Cunning]] + [[Agility]].  We'll give you more on how Reaction works at the beginning of the Combat chapter.
