This rule just plain sucks. It needs a complete overhaul in order to be useful. We don't want to deprecate it, so get cracking on a revision, slacker!

The mage through sheer force of will summons a specific metal combative object belonging to him. He or she can also summon a weapon or armor belonging to an ally, but he would have had to have even a mild personal connection to it. The object will not appear if it's been stored extra-dimensionally such as through the Store Object spell. If it's being physically held or worn by anyone else, they need to make a Might check to keep it. Armor summoned in this way can be automatically donned as buckles, clasps, and rivets affix themselves around the caster, or if the caster prefers, the armor can be simply brought to hand if the intent is not to don the armor. The weapon or armor to be summoned must obviously have at least some metal parts. The Intensity limits the distance from the caster the object can be

In essence, the force of the object being pulled toward the caster is enough to push or destroy anything in its path. If the object is extra-dimensionally stored, the caster can make an opposed spell check against the caster of the Store Object using Muscle as the key ability.
