Some cultures believe in the reading of runes inscribed on bone as a way of foretelling the future. The question isn't whether the runes say anything; the question is where you place the punctuation. With the correct reading of runes, the mage can glean a feeling about the best modes of attack to conquer certain tasks. This knowledge allows the mage a better chance of succeeding at future tasks. The spell roll must equal or exceed the DL listed below in order to gain that bonus. Bonuses from lower Intensities still apply if those DLs are met. This bonus applies only to one roll and once expended it's gone.
