This rule just plain sucks. It needs a complete overhaul in order to be useful. We don't want to deprecate it, so get cracking on a revision, slacker! |

The mage changes his or her own body (or the body of a willing ally) into something else. The type of change is dependent on the Intensity. The target remains in this state for one half hour per rank in the school. If the target assumes the form of another creature, he or she gains the Muscle, Agility, and Endurance scores of that creature (GM's discretion), as well as any Physical Trumps or Faults. If the form accommodates them (GM's discretion), the target can still use any existing spellcasting abilities, Special Powers, and Supernatural abilities. The target does not gain any supernatural abilities or special powers of the new form.
Intensity Effects
- The target can grow extra body parts, such as more limbs, wings, gills, or horns, as well as the combat or situational properties of such body parts. The target takes a -20 penalty to attacks with extra limbs.
- The target can assume the form of another creature of the same kind (a human can become a Sidhe).
- The target can assume the form of a creature of the same and kind up to half as large or twice as big.
- The target can assume the form of a creature of a different type up to half as large or twice as big.
- The target can assume the form of any creature, so long as the creature's Expoint rating is not higher than the mage's ranks in the school.
