Sometimes a party needs to get out of somewhere — and fast. The mage may use this spell to turn an ordinary doorway, window, open grave, toilet, well, empty picture frame, opening, hole, or other geometric opening into a portal to another location. The destination is determined by the Intensity. The portal remains active until the time expires or after the mage has stepped through, at which point it closes. All portals require a key item; in this instance the mage himself is the key.
Intensity Effects
- The portal exits exactly where the mage intends up to 1 mile away.
- The portal exits exactly where the mage intends up to 10 miles away.
- The portal exits exactly where the mage intends up to 100 miles away.
- The portal exits exactly where the mage intends up to 500 miles away.
- The portal exits exactly where the mage intends up to 1,000 miles away.
