The mage makes a call to Mr. Sandman to escort targets to the land of nod. Creatures targeted by this spell are slapped by magic that instantly exhausts them and forces them to fall into peaceful sleep. Creatures capable of standing and sleeping (e.g. horses, centaurs) fall asleep where they stand, but for the most part, the target will fall down, releasing anything carried. Sleep is cast on an area, and any vulnerable creatures within must save or pass out.
