The mage makes a call to Mr. Sandman to escort the target to the land of nod. Creatures targeted by this spell simply fall into peaceful sleep. Creatures capable of standing and sleeping (horses, centaurs, etc.) fall asleep where they stand, but for the most part, the target will fall down, releasing anything carried. Creatures who do not require sleep are immune to this spell (except at higher levels). Sleep is nullified by Disenchant.
Intensity Effects

- Creatures that do not require sleep are no longer immune to this spell
