Landscape
The kingdom of Cadwal is surrounded by an immense wall, running around the perimeter of the region and manned continuously against invasion. The area inside the wall and beyond the perimeter forts is made mostly of farmland and small villages with Hammerhall at its center.
History
When Prias I came to Gaeis, he sought to protect his tribe, and so dreamed of an enormous wall erected to keep invaders out. Centuries later, the wall was completed, and not even Prias could have envisioned the sheer enormity of the thing. Soon thereafter, more walls were built around individual forts and cities, further fortifying them... and isolating them.
The nation of Cadwal has survived assaults from the Titaness Queen Donya, slithering shadow of the Sidhe, Tenebran Entropist factions, and the nearby Triadan Civil War. According to Cadwallers, they aren't going anywhere soon.
