The Dark Mage wracks the target with intolerable pain from which he/she cannot escape. The damage done in this manner will heal itself as soon as the Dark Mage stops spending Mana, but if enough damage is done to render a target unconscious/dead, the character will immediately drop unconscious until a heal check can be performed. For every point of success, the target loses one temporary Health Point.

- Target may only defend themselves, and at -3 penalty
- Target may do nothing but writhe helplessly on the ground until the spell ends
