This rule just plain sucks. It needs a complete overhaul in order to be useful. We don't want to deprecate it, so get cracking on a revision, slacker! |

This beam spell melts a metal object, quite simply. The melted metal will not hurt whoever is holding it or touching it. The metal will harden again when the spell’s duration ends.
