For many situations in the game, knowing what to say, when, and to whom can be an extremely vital thing. The Etiquette skill grants the player knowledge of proper behavior for certain situations.
Difficulty
The difficulty should be determined on a situational basis by the GM. Below are a few examples.

Knowing the difference between a salad fork, a dinner fork, and a cocktail fork. | 15 |
Knowing that you must never look at the emperor | 20 |
Knowing that calling the King “Your Highness” in a certain foreign country brings you a swift jail sentence | 25 |
Being able to perfectly perform the greeting ritual of a lost civilization | 35 |
The following table lists situational bonuses and penalties to the Etiquette check.

Etiquette checks cannot be re-rolled without the expenditure of a fate point.
