The mage surrounds him/herself with a powerful field of entropic forces, wilting plant life, rusting metal, rotting wood, and draining the energy of those close enough to be affected.
Intensity Effects
- Animals avoid the caster, plant life wilts, Ruin spells receive a +5 bonus to cast.
- Attempts to Disable and Intimidate receive a +5 bonus each.
- The mage’s touch becomes corrosive. If the mage spends a round in contact with a wooden, glass, metal, or other sturdy object, the weapon loses all structural integrity. The mage can affect 5 cubic feet per turn in this way.
- The mage’s touch saps will and vitality: on a successful touch or H2H attack, the victim loses 5 points of Courage and Endurance for the duration of the spell and the mage gains 5 Health Points.
- Ranged attacks fail automatically and any melee attacks that fail to hit the caster result in the weapon being destroyed (unless the weapon is magical.)
