This rule just plain sucks. It needs a complete overhaul in order to be useful. We don't want to deprecate it, so get cracking on a revision, slacker! |

The mage calls upon the spirit of steel to cause trace amounts of ores to solidify and burst from the ground, harden into small steel spheres, and begin to ricochet violently inside a cylindrical area reaching from the ground to the ceiling and spanning a five foot diameter. The mage causes one such column for every two school skill ranks, at any location he or she wishes (no two in the same location). The velocity of the bouncing metals is dependent on the spell level. The damage is all impact.
