The bonuses a Trump conveys should be compared to the bonuses that can be achieved by other means.
- It costs 5 Expoints to purchase a new Ability point. A character can use an Ability point in many different tasks.
- It costs 2 Expoints to purchase a rank in a skill (including magic schools and weapon skills)
For example, a Trump that inflates a character's attack roll should consider that it takes 2 XP to buy another rank in the weapon skill.
