While no naturally-produced sound wave can wreak havoc on the human bowels, surely a magically-produced sound can. The Brown Note spell directs a magical subsonic wave at a target and — through magic resonance — relieves him of his bowel control. At higher levels, the target can do little more than squat down and suffer. This is essentially the same spell as Sicken; the mage may learn the spell once and use ranks in either Status or Sound, whichever is higher. This spell is nullified by Cure.
Intensity Effects
- Queasy, −2 to all rolls, −1 Action Point
- Nauseated, −4 to all rolls, −2 Action Points
- Slight loss of bowel control, −6 to all rolls, −3 Action Points
- Complete incontinence, −8 to all rolls, −4 Action Points
- Explosive and violent diarrhea, −10 to all rolls, Target falls prone and can take no aggressive actions.
