This rule just plain sucks. It needs a complete overhaul in order to be useful. We don't want to deprecate it, so get cracking on a revision, slacker! |

The mage calls upon the spirit of storms to cause columns of pounding hot or cold rain to pelt adversaries hapless enough to be caught under them. The mage causes one column of rain for every two school skill points, at any location he or she wishes (no two in the same location). The intensity of the rain is dependent on the spell level. The damage is part impact and part water. The rain is hard to stand in and a Gymnastics check is required of anyone entering or remaining in the rain-spot to avoid slipping prone.
Intensity Effects
- +12 Spell Attack (Impact/Water)
- +24 Spell Attack (Impact/Water)
- +36 Spell Attack (Impact/Water)
- +48 Spell Attack (Impact/Water)
- +60 Spell Attack (Impact/Water)
