This rule just plain sucks. It needs a complete overhaul in order to be useful. We don't want to deprecate it, so get cracking on a revision, slacker! |

The mage forces a target to assume the form of something else. Popular choices include pigs, sheep, and toads. If the new form would potentially kill the target (such as turning someone into an fish, or turning a flying target into a sheep), the target gets a +10 to the Mutation Save. The target immediately assumes the Muscle, Agility, and Endurance of the new form, as well as any Physical Trumps or Faults. Creatures that can shapeshift (such as lycanthropes or the Pookah) can spend 3 action points to reassume their normal form (as long as they are not experiencing Mind Loss).
Mind Loss: Where noted, if the target fails a Psyche check, he or she assumes all ability stats of the new creature for the spell duration, and also loses any spellcasting ability, supernatural abilities, or Special Powers.
