This rule just plain sucks. It needs a complete overhaul in order to be useful. We don't want to deprecate it, so get cracking on a revision, slacker! |

The mage can magically reach into one's Soul and pull pieces from it through bodily contact. If enough of the soul is pulled out, the character will cease to be, his/her soul a captive in a receptacle belonging to the mage, such as a bottle or hollow crystal. The mage pulls one point of Endurance from the target for each level of Intensity. If the target is brought to 0 Endurance, its entire Soul is stolen and its body dies. Alternately, the mage can forego stealing the soul and simply devour it, adding the stolen Endurance to his own, which lasts for one round per spell rank.
Intensity Effects
- One point of Endurance
- Two points of Endurance
- Three points of Endurance
- Four points of Endurance
- Five points of Endurance
