You are incapable of hearing; stone deaf. Among other obstacles, you cannot make Listen checks, you will not hear comrades' shouted warnings, you will not understand talkers if their lips cannot be observed, and you also have a hard time speaking out loud to others, as you cannot hear your own voice. As a player, you must learn not to rely upon the speech of your fellow PCs, which (like the Blind Fault) may be too restrictive for less serious or experienced gamers.
