Meteor
This rule just plain sucks. It needs a complete overhaul in order to be useful. We don't want to deprecate it, so get cracking on a revision, slacker! |

A whispered spell of ancient might, Meteor does precisely what its name suggests: summons a giant hunk of rock from the heavens, encompassing nearly 60 cubic and weighing in at almost 4 tons. When the Meteor impacts, it shatters into huge shards of rock. Any creature or object at the center of the impact (a 20 ft. radius from the center) cannot add AGI or Dodge to the Spell Defense roll. The creature is also buried. Creatures and objects 40 ft from the center can make a full Spell Defense roll, but are still buried. Those between 40 and 60 feet from the center are not subject to being buried.
Creatures who are buried must spend an entire round digging themselves out, but can only manage to do so with a successful MUS + Thievery check against a DL of 20. For each round spent buried, a creature must make a Vitality check against a DL of 15 or pass out. Creatures unconscious take 5 damage for each round buried.
