The mage alters his or her own body to duplicate that of another person or being. The mage does not gain any of the original’s memories or knowledge, so the mage must act or bluff his or her way out of sticky situations. Additionally, the mage doesn’t gain any of the original’s supernatural powers or spellcasting ability. While in this form, the mage temporarily assumes the Muscle, Agility, and Endurance scores of the original, as well as any physical Trumps or Faults. To cast Copycat, the mage must have something from the original, like a strand of hair, a scale, or a fingernail clipping.
Intensity Effects
- The mage looks pretty much like the original (including any visible weapons and equipment), minus descriptive details.
- The mage looks exactly like the original, including scars, tattoos, piercings, or birthmarks.
- As level two, but also gains the voice of the original
- As level three, but also gains any physical attacks or abilities, such as damage absorption, a poison bite, water breathing, or the ability to fly.
- As level four, but also gains the aura of the original.
