Vanara

Simian ascetics from the jungles of Haven.

Appearance

The Vanara are slightly smaller than humans, reaching from five feet to five-and-a-half feet tall, and are slightly lighter in weight as well. They have white, brown, grey, and black fur covering their bodies and a monkey-like face. They possess golden, green, or brown eyes. Their arms are very long indeed, for the Vanara can easily rest on their knuckles. Vanara prefer simple clothing, typically loose-fitting.

Personality

Many Vanara adhere to a life of monk-hood and devotion to pondering the cosmic mysteries. However, even among those tempered souls, there exists an undeniable curiosity and desire for experience and exultation.

Habitat

The Vanara make their ancestral home in the city of Haven and on the mountainous jungle slopes surrounding that area. The temples of the Vanara ascetics are located at the top of the ranges, far removed from the troubles of most people.
