Sometimes a party needs to get out of somewhere — and fast. The mage may use this spell to turn an ordinary doorway, window, open grave, toilet, well, empty picture frame, opening, hole, or other geometric opening into a portal to another location. The destination is determined by the Intensity. The portal remains active until after the mage has stepped through, at which point it closes. All portals require a key item; in this instance the mage himself is the key. As soon as the mage enters the portal, it shuts.
Intensity Effects
- The portal exits exactly where the mage intends up to 1 mile away.
- The portal exits exactly where the mage intends up to 10 miles away.
- The portal exits exactly where the mage intends up to 100 miles away.
- The portal exits exactly where the mage intends up to 500 miles away.
- The portal exits exactly where the mage intends up to 1,000 miles away.
