The mage chooses a point in space from which a spray of acid erupts in all directions. The size and damage an Acid Ball does is dependent on the spell level. Anyone in the blast radius must make a reaction check against the spell roll with agility as the Casting Ability or take full damage. Objects take similar damage. The acid is powerful enough to affect metals and softer materials. For every two ranks beyond one (e.g. 3, 5, 7, 9), the acid burns for an additional round (to a max of five) and deals 5 damage each round. Against initial damage from this spell, characters can only use their endurance score for Damage Resistance. Damage taken from burning acid surpasses Damage Resistance.
