This rule simply needs tweaking. It may be almost perfect, or it may need a bit of work. It's half-way in between sexy and in need of overhaul. Leave any ideas on the Talk page, please!

The mage chooses a point in space from which a corrosive spray of acid erupts in all directions. Any creature within this area must make a Spell Defense roll. The area covered by the spell is 10 feet in radius per level. Objects take damage where applicable. The acid is powerful enough to affect metals and softer materials.
