You've passed just "plain" and moved into the region of unattractive. Something about you turns others off, although just how much you turn them off varies. For one point, you are considered unimpressive to the point of homely, and you must take a −2 on Animal Control, Leadership (unless your followers are ugly, too!), Negotiate, Seduce, and Performance checks. Three points in this Fault buys the rank of Ugly and you must take a −4 penalty. Grotesque characters suffer a −6 penalty for a five point Fault.
