This rule just plain sucks. It needs a complete overhaul in order to be useful. We don't want to deprecate it, so get cracking on a revision, slacker! |

The mage conjures a huge mass of swirling, thrashing water which comes hurtling from the sky to smash, soak and drown anything in its path. The water follows a path indicated by the mage as best as it can, but as with most liquids, will follow the path of least resistance once the initial deluge ends. Glass, brittle or easily ruined objects take the indicated damage as well as creature. The initial deluge impacts an area of 10 ft. for every water school rank the mage has. Anyone in this area must also succeed at a Muscle+Swim roll or be swept 20 ft. away in the direction of the deluge for each spell level.
