The mage instills in him/herself or in another the ability to breathe water as if it were air. The manifestation of this spell typically confers gills on the recipient, but incurs no problem with breathing air above water as well. At higher levels, additional abilities are gained as well.
Intensity Effects
- Retain ability to talk. No wrinkly fingers.
- Retain casting ability.
- Gain ability to communicate with aquatic animals.
- Gain fins: +5 to Swim checks and may move at normal speed underwater.
- Gain scales: +1 dermal armor.
