There are numbered in the world a people called spell weavers, sorcerers, witches, and other names, and you are one of them. You are a wizard and are respected, feared, distrusted, and misunderstood by the common folk for good reason: you may wield tremendous arcane power.

Ranks

1. Mark of Triadus

Expoint Cost: 1 point

You were born with the mark of Triadus and therefore have been subject to a life of training in the magical arts. It has long been held that the descendants and favored of the house of Triadus carry the blood of Dragons, the founders and keepers of magic. These magi are known as Innocents. This rank allows you to cast first-level spells.

2. Ring of Roses

Expoint Cost: 2 points

When a mage enters into an academy of magic, he or she receives an adamantite ring encircled with roses and thorns. This ring represents the ever-growing nature of a mage's desire to learn as well as the sometimes prickly nature of magic itself. These magi are known as Novices. This rank allows you to cast second-level spells.

3. Brooch of Dragons

Expoint Cost: 3 points

As a homage to the originators of magic, this adamantite brooch decorated in a spiral fashion with three dragons is awarded to those who have passed the first test of magic: the Rite of the Dragon. These magi are known as Adepts. This rank allows you to cast third-level spells.

4. Cloak of Many Colors

Expoint Cost: 4 points

Representing the shifting and dynamic nature of magic, this cloak, woven with magic-infused fabric, is awarded to those who have passed the second test of magic: the Masters Test. These magi are known as Masters. This rank allows you to cast fourth-level spells.

5. Nimbus of the Archmagi

Expoint Cost: 5 points

When one has passed the test of the Archmage, the most deadly and prestigious test, he or she is rewarded with a glowing nimbus of magic. This nimbus is viewable only by other magi and those with the Aura Sight ability. These magi are known as Archmagi. This rank allows you to cast fifth-level spells.
