Loelir the Lady of Light is a goddess of good. She is attributed to dominion over light, life, peace, serenity, order. She was created by Alnarya and Morrak to govern the daytime.

Symbol

Loelir's symbol is a vibrant sun with long rays in the cardinal directions. Goodly monastic orders decorate their monasteries with this sun.

She is associated with the dove, a creature of peace and daylight. She is also obviously associated with the elemental force of light.

Works

Loelir is said to have formed men out of clay.

Description

The teachings of some schools of martial arts reveal much about Loelir. She is depicted as a maiden of white hair with soft luminescent eyes. She is surrounded by a glowing nimbus and wears a long white robe. A story of the Great War of Gods tells of her battling Selragh with her bare hands, thus she is revered by many martial artists.

Personality

Stories describe Loelir in disposition as calm and logical, with little emotion. She is immutably serene and collected. Her teachings point to a universal order and an attainable harmony with one's surroundings. She delights in friendships and the formation of other peaceful bonds. She is disapproving of conflict and chaos.
